Meet the Magicians Behind Fifth Dimension
Jeff Burns and Ivor Smith founded Fifth Dimension in 1999, with their now-retired partner Bill Duncan – bringing together extensive business experience with award-winning magical entertainment.
After meeting at the Aberdeen Magical Society in the early 90s, they noticed an opportunity to use magic in new ways, to communicate complex messages in easy-to-understand and memorable ways.
Ivor and Jeff now travel the world delivering keynote speeches, health and safety training, team development sessions and powerful magical entertainment.

Jeff is an award-winning magician with over three decades’ experience, a member of the Magic Circle, and a fully qualified Chartered Accountant… but don’t hold that last one against him!
Jeff has delivered training seminars around the world, using his unique blend of business expertise, showmanship and humour to engage and entertain audiences.
Whether he’s bringing corporate messaging to life or wowing a crowd with sleight of hand, Jeff thrives on connecting with people.
Special skills: Building an instant rapport with audiences, saying yes to new opportunities, seeking out cakes.
Ivor is an experienced marketing manager, a professional magician for over 30 years, and a member of the Magic Circle.
Having organised seminars, presentations and exhibitions in the UK and internationally, his combination of business insight and magical flair ensures that the audience – and clients’ messages – are always in the spotlight.
Ivor has entertained and delivered training across the UK, North America, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. Despite numerous requests, he fully intends to return to these areas in the future.
Special skills: Identifying and communicating key messages, inventing magic tricks, keeping Jeff out of trouble.
