    Hollywood Nights

We were delighted to be invited back to perform at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, Los Angeles earlier this year.

Performing at the Magic Castle is one of the Highlights in any magician’s career and it’s an honour to have been invited back for a run of 17 shows where we entertained celebrities, VIP’s, and invited guests. As if that wasn’t enough we followed that up by headlining in a show in Las Vegas the following week. Read more about our magical experience in the USA and have a look at some pictures.

A Funny Business…humour in the workplace.

Have you heard the one about the unhappy worker who was too stressed to come into work? There’s a lot to be said for word of mouth.

One of the most effective ways to grow a business is through referral or word of mouth marketing. After all if an existing client is pleased with the service or product that they are receiving why wouldn’t they pass your company’s details on to others with similar needs?

Zoomanity - Animals in the Workplace

It is often said in jest that humans have a tendency to resemble their pets. However what about the parallels that can be drawn between our work personas and the animal kingdom?

We’ve had a bit of fun categorising staff into a number of worker ‘types’, which, once recognised, can help when it comes to appreciating the ranges of skills and experiences present in a team and allocating work accordingly. We present our take on Zoomanity in the work place.

Most of us who deliver presentations on a regular basis are familiar with the theory of how to give captivating talks. Be dynamic, articulate, engaging. Relate to the audience, use examples and interactivity. The buzz words are as old as the hills. Putting such advice into practice however, is another matter altogether when you’re standing on the stage.

    Team Talk

Team Development has long been recognised as a vital component of a successful organisation. Business people the world over talk about working as a team, building the team, feeling part of a team, but a surprisingly small proportion really understand how to create the experience of team work, or how to develop an effective team.

    A Case of Mistaken Identity

A number of years ago we thought we had hit the big time when it was reported in a national magic magazine that we had been nominated for a prestigious spot on the new Las Vegas Walk of Fame.

HSE: Fifth Dimensions bag of tricks catches on.

We managed to get a nice piece of coverage in the press earlier this week.

Training firm Fifth Dimension has enjoyed a 36% increase in turnover after securing a clutch of international contracts.

Sales in 2013 hit a record high for the firm which takes an unusual ‘magically enhanced’ approach to health and safety.
